Vilakazi: Chiefs still favourites Despite a great run of form which has put Bidvest Wits very much into title contention, captain Sibusiso Vilakazi insists Kaizer Chiefs are still odds-on favourites to lift the trophy. The Students won their four successive League game on Sunday afternoon when they beat Polokwane City 3-1 at the old Peter Mokaba Stadium, leaving them six points behind the Amakhosi. Still, Vilakazi doesn’t see Chiefs dropping too many points going forward. “I wouldn’t call us dark horses,” he tells KickOff. “There is still a big gap between us as Chiefs. I don’t see them slipping up at the moment. “They have good team; they juggle the players around and are getting the results. To be honest, I dont see them slipping from the top position on the log.” Vilakazi has attributed Wits’ success in recent games to a great attitude in their dressing-room. “There is great determination and a good attitude in the team. We go into every match looking for one thing and that is victory,” he says.
