Villagers in South Namatanai, New Ireland Province this morning saved a 25 year old Kiribati man who drifted into the waters of Papua New Guinea. Disaster Co-ordinator Michael Lamusang says the man was found on a raft near Anir Islands and has been brought to Muliama village on the Namatanai mainland. He says according to information received from villagers the young Kiribati was a member of a fishing boat crew.
