Vilo. Just a word. A word which all the dictionaries and lexicons wish to translate to english as fairy, but thats not really correct. English speaking fairies are delicate little things that flutter about doing what delicate fluttery little things do. Hardly anyone knows where to find one. You might actually see one once in your life, or you might not. This is not a descripton of a Vilo. Vilos are robust powerful creatures who, like fairies generally stay out of the way, but they are there when they are needed to either whomp up on those who are disrespectful, or to render aid and support to those whose hearts are kind. And oh yes, our Vilos can whip your Vilos so dont try anything. Vilos are in the Bible, did you know that? Yup. Book of Daniel chapter twelve for example. Go read it. When Luke writes ...And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them... we understand exactly what he is saying. Many of us have been in the fields at night and have seen such things. There is an ancient evening prayer with the line Let Your holy angel be with me, that the evil foe may have no power over me. Josipa sings concerning this matter ....... take it as a Christmas song and go read Luke 2 to your family.
