VinNie Mpsuj: You are right about trust and respect QueeNia. Except I would say that its more like trust and respect must be RE-EARNED when LOST (for whatever justified reason). Otherwise I think we (perhaps like kids may) should trust, love, respect, etc. pretty much by default (otherwise we are prejudiced - or pre-decided -- kinda not such a good thing). I agree that law enforcement folks which look a lot like a cross-section of the population should likely lead to better outcomes (without ethnic favoritism getting in the way, Id hope). And unless SPECIFIC INDIVIDUALS have shown bona fide reason to not deserve it --- such individuals should be shown as much trust, respect, and cooperation/love as the situation seems like it can BENEFIT from (btw I am no stranger to arrests). When LOVE can fill up the heart (even in stressful situations), fear is neutralized, clearer thinking (with heart connected to brain) prevails, and pre-written mandatory arrest scripts may be seen as what they possibly are: being disrespectful of, and a disservice to, the parties whose house they are calling on. I know that I am talking idealistically, but things will ALWAYS go better when the way of mature loving kindness is taken. Perhaps this allows something more spiritually just to occur, if simple karmic (or Instaneous Karma) lessons are not getting their points across. Hey MAGIC HAPPENS ! Am I not close to being partly right (though wordy in the process)? Heres a pretty well-complected group. Each, therein, must be seen for the breadth and depth that each of their lives represents, and if viewed as such: LIFE can go more smoothly -- or what the heck is a LIFE (yours and mine) for? DV is NOT so much male and female thing really, BUT more intergenerational in nature -- at least according to Erin Pizzey who started the first modern shelter in England. GOD BLESS !!!!
