Vince McMahon made a rare appearance during the last episode of Raw. And judging by the fans reaction to him, he is still a very popular character. There is no denying that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon make good authority figures, but they cant hold a candle to the original evil boss of WWE. Theres a certain confidence and charisma to the CEO that simply cannot be replicated. His walk, his voice and his demeanor are small details. But together, they help create a very entertaining personality. The fact that Vince maintains such a high level of popularity is a testament to how good he is at playing the Mr. McMahon character, and its something WWE needs to take advantage of. Vince is at every TV taping, so there isnt a good reason why he cant appear a little more frequently. Not only would he bring back some nostalgic memories for older fans, but his presence might actually help the ratings. While Raw has maintained a decent audience, the numbers can always be better. Theyve employed past stars like The Rock, Brock Lesnar and Batista to help drive up interest. Why not use Mr. McMahon the same way? By putting their control at risk, Vince basically made himself into an enemy of The Authority. While he can claim that he is doing it to make things more interesting and to strengthen The Authoritys resolve, he still put its power in jeopardy. What do you think?
