Vincent and I are not crazy over board with having emergency supplies but as I have watched the craziness out in Hawaii from friends and news I am thankful we have a plan and supplies in place everyday. Even here in VA when its our turn for bad weather people are out searching for food and water just like they are now there. I know people can have limited space and limited money to created a supply shelf as big as ours but I think everyone should have something. Its a heck of a lot cheaper to buy a little at a time than buy all at once. We have a self with bottle water, water jugs, our 72 hour survival bags for every family member, tent, camp stove, in the orange box is our maps, compass, assortment of other helpful items. Fishing poles and gear. We also have a large fishing tackle box full of medication and wound care. Not picture is our generator and a 45gal Rubbermaid tub full to the top of all of our nonperishable food items. To keep things fresh we cycle through food and water but the supply stays the same. We also have a binder full of paperwork like birth certificates, marriage certificate, insurance for our house and vehicles. Important number a list of every medication and food list and its experation. A current photo of every family member. Its got a ton of other stuff in it also.
