Vinyl is still around and still being produced, albeit in limited - TopicsExpress

Vinyl is still around and still being produced, albeit in limited quantities, some 30 years after the compact disc was introduced, and I expect CD will survive a very long time as well in a similar fashion, despite the dominance of the downloadable music market... So imma let this known now: If you want me to pay for your CD, youll need torelease, at the very least, a limited edition CD version... with ALL the bonus/extra tracks... because I refuse to pay for computer files, or for a CD that doesnt have ALL the tracks released from the sessions. Just not gonna do it. Hey Im no luddite, so dont take me wrong; I have iTunes, and all my CDs are ripped to it, and frankly I download shit that I have on vinyl and cant be bothered to transfer myself. But dont expect me to pay for mp3s, or FLAC, or even Waves... Not. Gonna. Do-it. FTR, my CD collection is a few thousand and growing, and I have nearly 2 thousand vinyl, but my vinyl collection is not growing at all since I will only buy vinyl that was released before about 95.
