People may argue that it is the Global South and their alleged social conservatism that promotes the UN rhetoric of violence against women, with violence against men reduced to a mere afterthought and violence against children ignored altogether. I dont buy it. I think it is the feminist imperialist ideology of the US State Department and of the Orwellian entitled Defense Department of the United States that promotes this agenda. Dont forget the US is the biggest funder of the UN budget, about 22% of it, and NATO countries and US imperium aligned countries account for more than 60% of the UN budget.
