Virender Sehwag is 36 today.If he was in any other country in the world he would have been a permanent fixture in the side. But in India where double standards and Godfathers control selection poor Sehwag despite good current form does not find himself in the reckoning for the simple reason that if he performs well he will be a threat to the present captain who is all set to create an unbeatable world record in India as the captain to have lost the maximum number of test matches abroad. One just cannot understand why Sehwag is not being considered when he has such a glorious world cup record. And in the IPL he showed his brilliance against the team led by the fellow who is solely responsible for his not being considered for Team India .
