Virpi and Sarah’s Celebration of life day Dear Family & Friend’s of Virpi & Sarah I am looking to have a celebration of Virpi’s & Sarah life on Nov 12. Nov 12 is Virpi’s name day in Finland and Sarah’s name day is all over the calendar depending on which country you look at. Using the American name day calendar, Sarah’s name day is Aug 19 Since we all knew and loved Virpi & Sarah, I am open to ideas, suggestions of how to setup the celebration and help. Both of them would like a “New Orleans” style celebration with Jazz/blues band, both of them loved orcharids . And 4 legged family members are allowed (Stella Sanders, Virpi’s Sheltie https://facebook/stella.sanders.58?fref=ts) There will be a Fire pit burning during the celebration and let people write messages to Virpi and Sarah and then put them in the fire so they are sent up to the heavens with the smoke (thanks for the suggestion Nayano). Side note, Virpi’s name means little birch. The wood to be used will the European birch and American Birch wood. Birch wood has a sweet smell to it. Again this is for all of Virpi and Sarah’s family and friends, suggestions are welcome. Please let me know if you think of any place we can hold this event at and a band that could possible perform. There is a Finnish Bakery in Lake Worth that can supply some snacks for Virpi’s Celebration Sarah had the expensive taste (for my budget) of fresh Maine Lobster How would you want your own celebration of life? Again, this is for all of Virpi’s and Sarah’s family & friends so suggestions/ideas are welcome. Especial since I have not done a “Celebration of Life” before.
