Vision, Not Illusion in Government and Organization You hear it - TopicsExpress

Vision, Not Illusion in Government and Organization You hear it all the time, “the centrepiece culture we need is sincerity/integrity/knowledge/education/expertise/teamwork!” Hogwash/Nonsense! The main thing we need is Truth. Truth, a proper and clear understanding of reality – is the key to smoothly trudge towards the so called “Right Path.” Ergo, Truth is the key to success in government and organizations, coalitions, relationships and careers. In fact, the focal point or the departure point for all achievement is a relentless commitment to truth – truth about which we are where we’re headed, where the economy and market is going, what our citizens or our clientele wants, what our competencies are, what our core limitations are, and what our people and stakeholders are thinking. The enemy of Truth is Illusion. Illusion is when we cannot accept the truth and we dwell in the world of pretension. Illusion is evident when you distinguish something to be true that is not true or is only partly true. Illusion maybe claimed to be insanity in the deepest sense base on the fact that your world belongs to a different dimension between the world of “Disturbia” and “Narcissism.” It is often-or perhaps always-tied into false hope. Only unambiguous foresight and shredding illusions – especially the fatal contention and imagination, will allow you to achieve your life’s greatness and organizational goals. Holding on to Illusion is one hell of easy thing to do. Getting the insight to get rid or to break through an Illusion - and having the courage and will to do it, is very difficult; the easiest thing in this world is to sit complacently in a hue of rose bubble.
