Visions of the Future There have been times I have had - TopicsExpress

Visions of the Future There have been times I have had conversations with a family member or friends about visions. Either they have had a vision or someone they know has had a vision about them. Visions can be a good thing, but they can also cause problems. My gifts lie mostly in hearing messages. But, I have had prophetic dreams. I have also had one vision. What I have learned from my experiences is sometimes the dream or vision is not exactly as we think it is. My dreams were really weird and the message obscure. It wasn’t until certain situations happened that the messages of the dreams became clear. Trust me, what actually was ended up being really far off from what I thought they meant. Visions are meant to guide us. I think of them as signposts along our journey directing us. But, here is the problem with visions. They are not set in stone. In her writings, Mary Summer Rain explains visions as being guided by the Law of Probabilities. The Law of Probabilities mean that any vision at a given moment is based on current situations. Any decision made by the people involved in the vision or by someone else who has an effect on the vision can alter said vision. That’s not to say that a vision won’t happen as seen. It just means we should take them with a grain of salt. It means nothing is set in stone. Here is the main problems with visions; we get so caught up in the vision and our interpretation of it, we fail to see the bigger picture. We get so focused on a portion of it, we try to work everything in our life so it will happen. Unfortunately, what happens is we become disappointed when things don’t work out the way we wanted. We have also let life pass us by while trying to force what was seen in the vision to come to pass. Another problem that arises is when the vision doesn’t pan out or appear to pan out, we lose hope. We figure if the vision wasn’t what we thought, then our life as we wanted it is over. The furthest is from the truth. We may have misinterpreted what we saw or the person having the vision may have. Or, others involved may have made different decisions. But, that doesn’t mean we have to put our life on hold or determine that it will remain as it currently is. The future is uncertain. Even with visions, it still remains uncertain. All we can do is work with what we have in the present. Now is all we are guaranteed. If a vision presents itself, take it with a grain a salt. Don’t let it become an obsession. Just use it as a simple signpost to guide you as you walk your life path. Raven Williams The fractal design is titled Nocturnal Mystery.
