Highlights the history and culture of the mountain tribes of north Thailand, including the Akha, Karen, Khamu, Lahu, Lau, Lisu, Hmong, Mien and Thin peoples. #ChiangMaiZoo A 200-acre (81 ha) zoo located on 100 Huay Kaew Road. Established on 16 June 1977. Provides two large aquariums. with the worlds longest tunnel aquarium . It also has a marine aquarium, which is the largest one in Asia. #NationalMuseum Highlights the history of the Kingdom of Lanna with descriptions in both Thai and English. The museum is located in the vicinity of Wat Chet Yot. Run by the Fine Arts Department of Thailand. #ElephantNaturePark A sanctuary and rescue centre for elephants. Founded in 1996, the projects aim is to provide sanctuary for distressed elephants from all over Thailand. Set in a natural valley, bordered by a river, and surrounded by forested mountains.
