Visit : latesthindifilms Besharam Movie Review Cast: Ranbir Kapoor, Pallavi Sharda, Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor Direction: Abhinav Singh Kashyap Genre: Comedy Duration: 2 hours 18 minutes The awaited movie by Ranbir Kapoor’s fans “Besharam” has not been able to spread its magic in the minds and hearts of the audience. After delivering commendable performances in movies like “Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani”, “Barfi”, “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” Ranbir could not woo his audience playing the role of a notorious and brazen character “Babli” in Besharam. The story rolls around Ranbir playing the role of an orphan boy, who spent his life living in an orphanage in Delhi and is a street smart car mechanic, who steals cars and donates most of the money to support his orphanage where he grew up. He falls in love with Tara Sharma (Pallavi Sharda) but breaks her heart and spends rest part of the movie with the desire to reform himself and mending his mistakes. Chubul Chautala (Rishi Kapoor) and Bulbul Chautala (Neetu Kapoor) has played the role of couple who are corrupt cops and Bheem Singh Chandel (Javed Jaffery) has played the role of the villain as a Hawala King. Considering the performances, Ranbir gave a committed lead performance, while his counterpart Pallavi has to still work hard on the screens to leave her impression on the audiences. Its was good to see the age old, on screen chemistry and the coupled performance of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor after a very long time. Keeping aside the only foot tapping track of the movie “Ban Besharam…”, the songs and the soundtracks of the movie are not so mesmerizing. The only reason to watch this movie could be Ranbir Kapoor and not the movie plot, for this Abhinav Kashyap the writer-director of the Besharam, is to be most blamed. Mandavi Kashyap Latesthindifilms
