Visitation for Mrs. Carolyn Joyce Johnson will be held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at North Oak Grove Baptist Church in Millry. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, July 25, 2013 from the North Oak Grove Baptist Church in Millry with Dr. Scotty Hogan, Bro. Sidney Hill and Rev. Bill Messer officiating. Interment will be in North Oak Grove Cemetery in Millry. In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to North Oak Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Johnson, 65, a native and resident of Millry, AL, was born Tuesday, July 6, 1948 and passed from this life Monday, July 22, 2013 at Springhill Medical Center in Mobile. She was a member of North Oak Grove Baptist Church and was employed as a Medical Transcriptionist with the Hattiesburg Clinic in Hattiesburg, MS. Mrs. Johnson is preceded in death by her parents, Irving and Ena (Page) Gunn; and granddaughter, Gracie Tuck. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Johnson of Millry; son, Rodney Johnson (Jill) of Scottsville, KY; daughter, Shelley Tuck (Steven) of Goshen, AL; 3 brothers, Robert Lewis Gunn (Rebekah) of Pittsboro, NC, John W. Gunn (Ouida) of Millry, Marvin A. Gunn (Barbara) of Millry; 3 sisters, Anne Lewis of Heidelberg, MS, Sadie C. McIlwain (Robert) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Mary Ruth Dillehay (Don) of Mobile; 5 grandchildren, Brady and Maggie Johnson of Scottsville, KY, Ian, Orion, and James Tuck of Goshen, AL.
