Visited Phi Phi Islands today, which is considered to be one of the most attractive and touristic islands in the Gulf of Thailand. Got a chance to set foot on the exotic Maya Bay where Leonardo Di Caprio starrer Hollywood flick, The Beach [2000] was filmed. Although it was a small bay with too many people and a life-sucking fiery sun above the head, the crystal clear water, the white glittery soft sand and the rock formations around the beach gave Maya Bay a majestic aura all over. The location of Maya Bay was exaggerated in the The Beach movie through video editing but even then, the bay in reality is still a breathtaking place! Must say, a day definitely well spent! :)
