Visited a BEAUTIFUL 200 year old family farm in SW Virginia today and met the nicest family members who were very willing to allow us to explore their property and capture the pristine beauty and history of their land for Preserving Appalachia In addition to allowing us to explore their property and paint, they are also going to tell us some of the history of the property and family stories about some of the old buildings, including a Post Office, spring house and several old barns. These stories will be included alongside the paintings in the book Preserving Appalachia We will be working on location there this Friday and will post an update video then.
