Visited my 95 year old grandmother today for what I think is the last time. She was given last rights yesterday.She was bien in 1918 and she has been married to my grandfather for 72 years. He is 94 and is at her side constantly. A true love story. Just imagining all that they witnessed together over the course of their lives is amazing. 5 wars. Invention of tv, cassettes, c.d.s. numerous vaccines, pearl harbor, d day, Kennedy assassination, Iran revolution and hostages, 9/11. I will miss her so much but I am so lucky to have had my grandparents around into my 40s.
