Visited the Hermann Gmeiner Social centre at Shivajinagar . An organisation that caters to the needs of 60 street children during the day . May it be their health , nutritional food , education , counselling n rehabilitation. Pune based successful entrepreneur Suhas Mantri is the guiding force behind this organisation .. Was wonderful to interact with the Kids for almost over an hour . I saw so much hope in their eyes , little acts of kindness make a huge difference in their lives . Slowly steadily they are gaining access to respectable life and Im sure with Philanthropist like Suhas Mantri and contributions from various sections of the society many of them will indeed make it big in the near future .. Thats why I really love my job , it teaches you something new about life everyday .. It Teaches you Gratitude, makes you more grounded and inspires you to give even more each day to the society .. Was gifted with this beautiful handmade candle . Ive invited all of them to have lunch with me at my restaurant Shabree to begin the New year on a even more Gratifying Note . Also assured them of all the help from the Pune Municipal Corporation to progress on their vision of lessening the miseries of street children along with guiding them on the path of a Bright Tomorrow.
