Visitor Safety Specialists and dog handlers from Banff and Jasper - TopicsExpress

Visitor Safety Specialists and dog handlers from Banff and Jasper have been working with the RCMP to find Ralph Greenaway, a 40-year-old man, reported missing on Tuesday, September 2 after failing to return from a planned BASE jump off Mount Rundle the previous day. Over the weekend, Cochrane Search and Rescue with support from the Calgary and Foothills teams provided search assistance on the ground. Despite full and exhaustive efforts the individual has not been located. While Parks Canada will scale back search efforts, we will continue patrols of the area. Yesterday, the RCMP issued a missing person notice asking anyone with information that may help locate Ralph Greenaway to contact them at 403.763.6600. Our thoughts are with the man’s family and friends. albertapolicereport.ca/2014/09/08/banff-rcmp-and-parks-canada-searching-for-missing-hiker/
