Visitor Services Officer Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment Parks and Wildlife Service Operations (North) Applications close Friday 21st November, 2014 Position details Position no: 705559 Award: Tasmanian State Service Award Classification: General Stream Band 3 Salary: $55,005 - $59,871 pro rata Work Type: Fixed-Term part-time - (14.70 hours per week) from 5/12/14 to 30/11/15 or until return of substantive occupant, whichever is the sooner Location: Located within the Northern Region, initially located at Freycinet Field Centre, but may be required to work at other field centres within the region. Commencing salary within the above range will be determined in accordance with qualifications and previous relevant experience. Pro rata salary is based on the above full time rates. Duties Assist the Visitor Services Co-ordinator with the day to day operations of the visitor centre including the interpretation displays, park shop, stock management and routine supervision of less experienced staff. Provide an information service to visitors. Desirable Requirements A current motor vehicle driver’s licence.
