Visitors to Georges prime beach resort have, over the past month, taken issue with the rough-neck tactics that the so-called car guards deploy in order to harass the public for money. Godfrey Louw, manager at Eden District Municipality, reacted by saying that George Municipality is without a doubt responsible for maintaining law and order at the bay. However, he also said that the future of the resort is to be re-examined.
