Visualize this for a second: somewhere all the way across the world, a 4 year old girl has the biggest smile on her face because she just received your cute shirt- a shirt that is all there, no rips or holes. Can you imagine the joy in the eyes of an 8 year old boy when he lays them on his new coat. Or can you feel the happiness an old man will be feeling because his feet will no longer be cold for he now has new socks and shoes to wear. Picture the gratitude, the prayers of thanksgiving and blessings to you from brothers and sister youve never met. To a person whose life has been turned upside down by war and poverty, who lost their families and homes, those everyday things we have which go unnoticed by us, are inconceivable blessings to them. That is a little sentiment to show how a piece of clothing traveling across the seas can connect your heart with another; a small notion of how your hand can be the cause of someones life changing in an unimaginable way. So if youve ever prayed to be used by God, to be His hands and feet, this is one huge way you can do so and its so simple. Some have old clothes, coats, blankets, shoes & even teddy bears in the closet and all you have to do is take some time out of your busy day & God will bless you. And others have told me theyre going to thrift shops where you can buy so many things with something as small as $40 (the amount is up to you). And God will repay you back loads more. So BEFORE EASTER help us spread love and hope to Syria. Were collecting clothes or money donations.
