Vitamin D can be helpful for people with psoriasis. Its also important for overall health. Two new studies show that low Vitamin D levels increases a persons risk for cancer, heart disease and other illnesses. Vitamin D can be found in natural sunlight, as well as from foods such as fish, eggs and fortified dairy products. The studys authors note, however, that more research is needed to determine the proper amount and duration of Vitamin D, as having too much can also hurt you. Be sure to talk with your doctor about any questions or before starting a supplement.
