Vivaldi’s The Four Season by Nigel Kennedy 2013 In 2013, the virtuoso violinist Nigel Kennedy performed his interpretation of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons at the BBC Prom with the classical Palestinian String Orchestra. It was an occasion to remember. Nobody has ever heard the Four Seasons played in this way. The bird sequence sounded real and several birds singing to each other. He often stamped his feet when playing. At time, the music dipped into a Middle Eastern mood and at other times it sounded like jazz. It was one of the most innovative arrangements I have ever heard.
