Vlad is so sad :( I know there are plenty of urgent dogs that need us but this guy stole my heart tonight. 12 years old, owner surrender, bag of bones and confused as hell. He wailed and wailed in his kennel tonight. I went and sat with him and he settled down and even ate something. He is so thin; his teeth dont look horrible but he is visibly uncomfortable eating anything not soft. His tail has been broken, he has cloudy eyes but can see. Did I mention how skinny? He is small, whippet sized and so gentle. Just buried his head in my lap. He is old, thin and under tremendous stress. It is only a matter of days and he will get sick. Please help me make sure he is not on the next urgent list. Or the next to die alone and scared because we could not help him fast enough. Does anyone out there have room for a sweet, small, confused senior?
