Vladimir Suchan: The next few hours or days could be critical. The US, through Kerry, has just issued an ultimatum to Russia to make the separatists disarm (their disarmament is what the US calls peace) and gives Russia literally next hours. That is to say, the US is whipping up all its vassals in NATO and the EU for peace meant as Russias unconditional capitulation combined with humiliation. Russia can either ignore it or make some response. We will see. But it is clear, as I have been suggesting, that the US has orchestrated this moment very carefully by arbitrarily joining at the hip the Brussels two-day summit, the commemoration not just of World War I, but its beginning, and the German chemical attack on French troops at Ypres in 1915 and now the US ultimatum. The US is holding all its vassals, members of NATO, as hostages of its imperial hubris and now also tries to hold Russia at gunpoint. In this regard, it also seems that the Maidan violent unconstitutional coup, the Odessa massacre, killing of civilians, and reborn fascism are all part of what Kerry calls a legitimate political process.
