Vodafone UK Telecommunication Product Manager - Enterprise product – ConnectivityHungary area, HU - Information Services, Information Technology and Services, Telecommunications Vodafone Hungary is looking for aTelecommunication Product Manager - Enterprise product – Connectivity colleague for its Enterprise Business Unit’s marketing team. Role purpose: To proactively increase revenue and penetration of all Connectivity products by using product, process and pricing elements of the marketing-mix and to develop and manage services and portfolio over their entire lifecycle. The Enterprise Product Manager / Connectivity has an end-to-end responsibility for the dedicated Connectivity product management, developments and portfolio. Main tasks: Product Leadership and Knowledge Lead product knowledge and training through the entire organisation to ensure all customer facing staff are fully trained to accurately explain product features and benefits. Proactively engage with segment teams to contribute to segment targets and direction. Support the Sales and Service teams as requested on product related issues such as customer events, customer complaint resolution and suggested product improvements. Pre-Sales support for Business Sales channels · Market Analysis Lead virtual team to develop quality market, competitor, and customer analysis related to the relevant product. Identify key target markets and the relevant customer needs and wants. Initiate communication of products that are compelling to the target markets to ensure strong demand. · Connectivity Product Portfolio Strategy and Planning Input to developing and implementing product portfolio aligned with the Group strategy and with the segments’ needs Based on strong foundations of Market Analysis, determine the product strategy and targets in alignment with Segment Strategy. Proactively contribute to the annual plan process and develop strategic and tactical marketing plans. Report the profitability and penetration performance of the product portfolio · Forecasts and Performance Meet product revenue and market share goals. Provide reliable revenue forecasting and analysis for the relevant product(s) on a monthly basis and in line with commercial calendar · Connectivity Product Lifecycle Management Closely track related activities of the competitors and the industry trends. Trigger actions and respond to the changes in the competitive environment Input innovative ideas and customer insights about new products to product development teams. Come up with innovative ideas to improve existing products. Initiate customer research, if necessary. Closely track related activities of the competitors and the industry trends. Trigger actions and respond to the changes in the competitive environment Follow quality and user experience of the proposition and drive improvement if necessary Phase out unprofitable and end-of-lifecycle products · Product Quality and Customer Satisfaction Ensure product(s) deliver most recommended customer experience. Ensure fast product complaint resolution processes and procedures. · Cross functional teamwork Support the sales team regarding Vodafone enterprise services (organize trainings, support in tenders, etc.) Align with other organization (particularly in the sales and customer service functions) to ensure that marketing strategies and activities are integrated with other parts of the business units. · Global and External partners Establish strong relationships with equivalent product manager roles in Group and other OpCos & utilise learnings to improve local performance. Manage relationships with customers / suppliers / third parties through day-to-day contact, handling complex procedures Establish appropriate and commercially successful relationships between Vodafone customers & suppliers Perform regular customer visits in order to gather feedback regards customer experience, Vodafone services and customers’ future expectations on servicesRequirements: · Advanced Product experience (2-5 years) in the telecommunications/IT/ISP industry. · Sound working knowledge of mobile/wireless/internet solutions markets. · Strong familiarity with core mobile services (i.e. Femtocell, roaming, CUG, Call Control, etc.) · Understanding technology of fixed connection is an advantage (ADSL, cable, leased line) · A successful track record in product marketing and management. · Commercial negotiation experience. · Experience in the development of business cases, product and marketing plans, proposals and solution packaging. · Sound business judgments. · Experience in working with a consumer and enterprise sales force and corporate clients. · Experience in working with a consumer sales force and channel/distribution clients.
