Vodka has been living with me for over a week. We are already having a strong bond. He is my little shadow. My affection for him is growing more and more everyday. However, the more I love him, the more I start to question myself if it is right to own him when I have to leave him in a puppy pen alone for long hours 5 days per week. My heart is aching every morning when I hear his cry. I feel no matter how much time I am trying to spend with him on my days off is not enough to make it up to him. I am worried about what sorts of the damage would be caused on Vodka. I wish I had more knowledge of dogs before I made decision on getting him into life. I dont regret it but only want to give the best to Vodka. I have been stuck with this thought lately and could not work it out. People like me really are not entitled to have a dog??? I decided to speak it out here even though I know I will get attacked. All I want is to find the best solution for Vodka. And I trust every dachshund owner/lover here that would give me some good advice. Thank you
