Voice - the sound used in speech. Echo - A repetition or an imitation. There’s a difference between a voice and a echo. A parrot can’t talk but can echo, imitate, mimic a word or two that they heard from a person’s voice. Today in the Body of Christ we’re finding some are echoing, imitating what others are voicing. In this hour know the difference between what’s echoed and what’s voiced. It started in the Garden of Eden, Satan echoed what God said, but it had a twist to it. Gen 2:16-17 - And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, You may freely eat of every tree of the garden; But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and blessing and calamity you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die. Gen 3:1-4 - Now the serpent was more subtle and crafty than any living creature of the field which the Lord God had made. And he [Satan] said to the woman, Can it really be that God has said, You shall not eat from every tree of the garden? And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat the fruit from the trees of the garden, Except the fruit from the tree which is in the middle of the garden. God has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die. But the serpent said to the woman, You shall not surely die. The moral of the story is: Be sure you’re following a voice and not an echo, something that’s imitated rehearsed, a learned behavior by mimicking Selah! John 10:4-5 - When he has brought his own sheep outside, he walks on before them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. They will never [on any account] follow a stranger……….
