Vola 4 Hamilton AFC 1 vola were looking to bounce back after last weeks poor result. and made several changes to the staring 11 vola started well and had Hamilton on the back foot from ko, with the vola front two causing problems. vola took the lead when a great run from Ross Thomson, his pass found Neil who finished superbly into the top corner. Hamilton came back and equalised 5 min later when a corner wasnt dealt with and the striker was left with a tap in from 6 yards. the game was very open but the midfield duo of Grant and Burton were starting to pull the strings and it was David Grant who set up Stuart McGillivray to put the vola back in front a superb pass through was calmly finished from the veteran. 2-1 h/t second half seen the vola batter Hamilton, they hit the bar twice and the post twice, had a perfectly good goal chopped off for offside and missed several other chances. further goals from the veteran McGillivary and Craig Nugent sealed a comfortable win. great team effort today, many good performances with Grant and Jonny Brooks sharing the man of the match
