Volleyball Katikati Senior Boys took on TBC Yellow on Thursday night. The team is starting to get their combinations right and are enjoying lots of positives during their matches. They easily won the first quarter to be 7 points ahead at time but had reversed fortunes in the 2nd quarter. Matt Shanley was serving brilliantly and with Ulitii Uilou putting in some great spikes off the lovely set ups from Robert Siua, the teams were only 2 points apart with 1 quarter to go. Unfortunately the momentum couldnt be maintained and the team took a beating in the last few minutes. Final score 73-93. Senior Girls A had a win over Otumoetai C. Middle players Eden Marcroft, Aimee Drake and Kennedy Green all had great games with outstanding blocking. KKC Senior Girls B had a close win on Thursdays game over Aquinas Mixed. They fought hard and were consistent coming out winners 84-82 with the team showing some great improvement.
