Volunteer Committee Of the American Red Cross In Washington DC Maybe you feel as if my concerns are just petty or lacks any substance. The American Red Cross at one point meant everything good in this chaotic world of so many devastating disasters. These disasters affect the lives of millions of people today. The Red Cross around the world and here in the USA continue to help those in need. Their volunteers and employees are the Angles of God, bless them all for the hard work. Unfortunately, some where along the way the true concept of its charter and the purpose of the mission has been corrupted and tainted by many leaders who run the American Red Cross. Today the American Red Cross has come under scrutiny because of their mismanagement, greed, corruption, deceptive ways in dealing with money donated by the public and the abusiveness towards their volunteers and employees. Being a former volunteer for nearly eight years I witness many of these wrong doings. And because of this I feel the need to hold them accountable, reform is needed with this organization.
