Volunteer Docents Needed at Issaquah Salmon Hatchery If you are passionate about caring for our environment and enjoy talking to people about it, we have the volunteer opportunity for you. Friends of the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery (FISH) give tours to approximately 25,000 visitors each year. Volunteers are vital to our organization. It would not be possible to educate hatchery visitors without the help of volunteers. If you would like join our Volunteer Team, please go to our web page at issaquahfish.org. Click on "get involved" and complete the Volunteer Application Form. After you click on "submit" you will be contacted for a personal interview. Our annual training class this year will be held on Saturday August 24th. At this all day class you will learn about the life cycle of salmon and the important role they play in our environment.
