Evan Slaughenhoupt 2. Tom Hejl 3. Kelly McConkey ...and in that order... Speakers that need some polishing up, but definite signs of an ability to connect and communicate (in this order): 1. Craig Kontra 2. George Owings 3. Mike Hart Speakers that miss fired (no particular order): 1. Paul Harrison 2. Joyce Stinnet Baki Worst Speaker: ...I can only think of one... Sue Kullen Best ideas (in this order) 1. Evan Slaughenhoupt 2. Tom Hejl 3. Craig Kontra Worst ideas (these guys wanted to put another tax on us!): Joyce Stinnet Baki, George Owings, and Mike Hart...all should be ashamed of themselves for offering that as a practical solution. Who are the winners for tonights debate? Only counting those whose opponents were present: District 3: Evan Slaughenhoupt (answer on the plan to open up money in the budget was amazing...if for no other reason, his budget plan for the next 4 years is good enough to declare a winner) ****go ahead ASK HIM WHAT IT IS!**** At Large: Tom Hejl (this man is stepping up to the plate in every perceivable way. Not only does he have the experience, but Tom is going to work very well with Evan on the budget and related issues). ***note there is no second choice for the choose 2 At Large race: Why? Steve Weems is a friend of mine, but speaking at forums is not a friend of his. And...Baki and Owings will find it a cold day in Hell when I put my vote toward two people who openly suggested a detailed new tax to put onto us in Calvert County. There is little these two can do to get my vote anymore...those comments were like suicidal shot to the head, with a shot of cyanide, and a noose around the neck.***
