Volunteer Week Highlight! Tracy Sauer of the Yavapai County Program sent this update about Barbara: As a matter of fact, Barbara Polk was our first volunteer – ever, and our program has been in existence for 25 years. She is still a CASA volunteer today and is also involved in (and was one of the founders almost 12 years ago) a 501c3 called CASA for Kids Foundation that has been raising money to meet the needs of children in foster care. She is involved in or has started many other foster child related service programs and organizations; she is one of a kind.
