Volunteers Needed The Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce is seeking volunteers for the 2014 Colorado Artfest, September 6 & 7. This event is a two-day celebration of art and culture located in historic downtown Castle Rock. Enjoy an eclectic display of art mediums by over 180 juried artists from around the country. Including paintings, ceramics, glass, wood work, leather, photography, garden art, sculpture and more. There is live entertainment, strolling performers, food and beverages, sponsor and nonprofit booths. There is also a children’s area with art activities for the whole family to enjoy. *We need volunteers to help with Artist check-in on Friday September 5th *We need volunteers to help with selling admissions tickets, soda/water, beer/wine, merchandise and in the silent auction tent. *This meets the requirements for community service for high school graduation. *We encourage parent/teen teams *Each volunteer receives a volunteer t-shirt, free entrance to the Artfest both days, snacks and water. *If you are a business owner or representing a business we encourage you to wear your business name badge to show the community your involvement. *We would love to have teams volunteer together from your business or organization.
