Volunteers Needed for Mega Adoption Event From July 4-6th Toronto Humane Society, with help from our friends at PetSmart Charities will be hosting the first ever Mega Adoption Weekend here in Toronto. A first of its kind for Toronto, the goal of this 3 day event is to have 400-500 animals adopted. The event, which will be taking place at the Queen Elizabeth Building at the CNE Fairgrounds, will include several other animal welfare organizations from around the GTA and throughout Ontario. We are anticipating through marketing and media advertising that we will draw in hundreds to thousands of people. At this point in time we are putting a call out for volunteer support for this 3 day event. We have over 250 volunteer shifts to be filled, with everything from set-up/take down crews, dog walkers (we are looking for individuals that are comfortable walking medium to larger sized dogs), event greeters, administrative helpers and much more.
