Volunteers are invited to join the effort to eradicate water chestnuts from local rivers during three days between July 20th and August 3rd. OARS will be mobilizing help for the Assabet, Sudbury, and Concord Rivers (exact locations to be determined). Using canoes, volunteers will pull water chestnuts out of the rivers by hand and then dispose of them at a designated shore site. Volunteers will be need to man the boats and to handle the shore duties.
