Vote NO to HB 356,357,358 and 359 These bill will only put a bandage on the real issue but wait till it goes into effect an our middle class workforce become the working poor. Due to the increase in products and services. Then you have a person who makes 7.25 or even 8 an hour will go to 10.00 now bringing home an extra 300.00 a month who receives housing assistance, wic, food stamps, and head start etc. will now lose all of there assistance, that 300 a month increase will in most case not even cover their increase in rent due to loss of benifits. Plus they all they will lose health benefits for their children, no more free lunch program or even head start. They will be worse off. Then what about the over 10,000 to 20,000 laid off people due to this. Now crime is up and more. I believe education as nd or job skills training is more beneficial than telling a person now you have to go cold turkey. Lets help people by voting down HB 356 and ask our elected officials to come up with a common sense plan that will benefit the working poor for life.
