Vote for White County 4-H Fairgrounds to a win Grinnell Mutual Fairground Facelift grant White County 4-H Fairgrounds in Reynolds was named one of 10 finalists competing for a Fairground Facelift grant sponsored by Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company. Grinnell Mutual invites the public to vote for its favorite project on its Front Porch Facebook page at https://facebook/GrinnellMutualFrontPorch. With help from its Facebook fans, Grinnell Mutual will distribute a total of $3,500 between three of these fairgrounds. If voted as a winner, White County 4-H Fairgrounds will receive a Fairground Facelift grant to replace the bleachers in the arena to be in compliance with ADA regulations and welcome all 4-Hers and visitors to the shows. “People living and working in rural areas know the needs of their local fairgrounds,” said Director of Advertising and Community Relations Barb Baker. “Anyone can vote for a project. Each vote on Grinnell Mutual’s Front Porch Facebook page will help decide which projects receive one of the three grants.” Barnyard. Voting is now open. Grinnell Mutual encourages voters to tell their friends on Facebook to vote for the fairground project they care about most. Voting ends Tuesday, May 27, 11:59 a.m. Central Time. The three finalists with the most votes will receive $2,000, $1,000, and $500, respectively.
