My grandfather was a famous freedom fighter in the West Godavari district. He was 26 when we got independence, I am 22 now, ye mera mauka hain! He had apparently woken up my father at 3:00am, in 1977, to tell him that Indira Gandhi lost. I think I will be doing the same, to tell him about Modi and Rahul Gandhi. I feel proud that I got a chance to take part in the second freedom struggle, which a country is pursuing with passion, enough to request a Medha Patkar, Meera Sanyal, V.Bala, Manisha Lath Gupta, Adarsh Shastri, Lubna Sarwath, Chaya Ratan and so many people to stay involved.
