Vote no on I 594 If you vote yes Id bet money I 594 will become a starting ground for a Washington gun registry. Why? Because running back ground check in private sales would be extremely ineffective without registered guns for the reason that people could sell guns without their little background checks and if the buyer commits a crime or is a felon they would have no way to track the seller unless they were to start a registry. Of course the advocates for I 594 will claim the law wouldnt be anything like a gun registry. Which it is not. However,the law would be ineffective without a registry in the future and they would just call out for more bureaucracy in the future. Furthermore I 594 would do nothing but create more hoops for law abiding citizens to jump through while criminals will do what they do best to obtain guns which is commit crimes. #noI594
