Vote out PDP in Rivers, Nigeria – Wike tells Rivers voters Nigeria’s Minister of State for Education, Barr. Ezebuwon Nyesom Wike, CON, has called on voters in Rivers State to get their Permanent Voters Card from the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for the purpose of ensuring that Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, does not rule Rivers State and Nigeria. Wike, a suspected governorship aspirant in Rivers State under the banner of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, made the call while on a campaign train in Aluu, Ikwerre local government. “The only thing you should do is keep your voters’ card and come 2015 to show your anger by using your voters’ card to ensure that PDP does not rule Rivers State and Nigeria,” the junior minister had counselled his listeners. Wike told the audience, “I want to appeal to all of you from Aluu community that the only way you can show that you are angry; the only way you can show that you are not happy ... is by making sure you get your voters’ card. Don’t insult anybody. Don’t be like a mad man who will run from one radio(sic) to the other and abuse your mother and your father.
