Voter Stupidity Snopes verified true. And now my 2 cents. Weve all been taught for years that we are to trust and obey our elected and appointed officials. Its sad that the life lesson we learn is that we cannot trust but we must obey. Whether or not this ACA will last or prove to be a good thing will be tested in time. I have heard some good accounts of the ACA in action and bad. Heres an example. I visited an optometrist who runs a family owned and operated practice. The ACA cut the amount of what he earned to the point of nearly closing his doors. On the other hand he was diagnosed with cancer and because of the ACA he was able to get life saving treatment. So he has mixed feelings about it. However, there is no mixed feelings about being misled and treated as second class citizens. If you were for the ACA and the administration that backed it, then know that the people behind it are saying that you didnt have all the information. That, certain things were hidden from you that might have changed your mind about your support. Perhaps, you dont really care so much because you trust the administration you voted for. Good for you. Youll probably be happy no matter what. This certainly isnt the first government smoke and mirrors act. Its just one of the most recent. It is time for the people to audit the government. It is time to hold these elected and appointed people accountable regardless of party. Lack of transparency is a fancy phrase for Lying. We should fire the liars that sit in circles plotting their agenda.
