Voters in Colorado approved a measure to tax marijuana, a year after voting to legalize it. AS SOON AS THE STATES REALIZE THE MONEY IN THIS $$$ THERE WILL BE WEED EVERYWHERE. In significant races last night, Chris Christie won his second term as New Jersey governor and made an acceptance speech that seemed aimed at a national audience and the 2016 presidential race. In Virginia, Democrat Terry McAuliffe, a long-time Clinton confidant, won a close race over Republican state Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli for the governors office. YEA!!!! OUT WITH THE TEA PARTY. In New York, Bill de Blasio becomes the first Democratic mayor in a generation with a victory over Republican Joe Lhota. In Alabama, an establishment candidate beat a tea party-backed candidate in a GOP runoff for a congressional seat. This had been seen as precursor of intra-Republican party contests in next years midterm elections. SEE YA TEA PARTY!!!! The results of some other ballot initiatives -- on genetically modified food in Washington and possible secession in Colorado -- are not yet known. SADLY ENOUGH GENETICALLY MODIFIED FOOD HAS BEEN PLACED IN THE SAME PARAGRAPH AS A COLORADO SECESSION.
