Vulnerability and Susceptibility A great heartbreak can leave - TopicsExpress

Vulnerability and Susceptibility A great heartbreak can leave us vulnerable. It can leave us feeling short, lacking. For a person it can be like starting out all over again. We get sent on a mission to accumulate value all over again. This is super sad. What we had was as a house of cards. I suppose that God allowed for that house of cards to be dismantled by the heartbreak. The Bible teaches us that our God seeks a personal relationship with us. He is a jealous God. Some people who despise the Religious fanatic feel they earn ammunition to hear us say that our God is a jealous God. In essence they feel this disqualifies us as would be representatives in the conveying of this idea of a god. They get disturbed further concerning the Christian. But this is not bad of God. This attribute we ascribe to him. Even in romance, especially in some cultures jealousy can be a sign of attachment. It is precisely due to the purveyed view of the corruption of jealousy that we now suffer open marriages and open relationships. Well, to get back on track; Vulnerability. Conclusions after a heartbreak can be born out of desperation. Out of a bleak outlook where our self esteem has endured decimation. Beware of your susceptibility during such an experience. The assessorship we won with our independence from God (in Adam) very quickly alights upon the immediate horizon. Looking at earthly options to aid our psyche in repurchasing our self esteem. Bottom line is that God wants to give us That Better Thing, not another house of cards. The filling of the Spirit is that better thing. Ill not make a mystery of it. Remember; God breathed into man the breath of life (Gen 2:7). The Spirit we forfeited with the fall of man. So with your exercise in Being Still he breathes into that balloon within (the Holy Spirit) His breath, filling you more and more, pushing out the substitutions, and furthermore the breakings aid in the expelling of that spirit of death out with the old... Just because you trusted in Christ doesnt mean the Holy Spirit doesnt have ground within that he has yet to fill.
