Vying for first place in a 1925 parade on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City and to out do the competition who was the PRR, the craftsmen at Reading Shops built this float. A real G-1sa would have been way to heavy for the wood Boardwalk and steering might have been a problem, so Reading Shops cobbled up this beauty on a truck frame and added a smoke generator to boot.. They effectively gave the raspberry to the PRR and won the top prize besides. Reproduction print in my collection from Reading Company original
