W E’ R E H I R I N G E-Commerce Assistant Full – time position Brand : House of Hackney Location : Head Office – Shoreditch, London Closing date for applications - Friday 16TH May 2014 House of Hackney was founded in London in 2010 by Javvy M Royle and Frieda Gormley. Originally founded as an interiors label, the brand has successfully grown to offer a full portfolio of homewares and fashion products, with an emphasis on quality, design and Made in England. House of Hackney operates two London based stores and is stocked in 35 luxury department and concept stores worldwide. As a fast- growing brand with ambitious growth plans House of Hackney is expanding its team and such we are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated e-commerce assistant to join the team. THE ROLE • Management of product and site content from a usability and design perspective • Generation of site traffic through online marketing including SEO and PPC. • Brief design and structure of the site with a view to enhancing customer experience and improving sales and conversion • Ensure products, promotions and content are timely, accurate and deliver on KPIs. • Management of 3rd party agencies and partners. • Report on ecommerce marketing activity from site analytics to email open and click-through rates. • Day to day management of all online product content and online merchandising • Maintenance of all retail platforms: Magento and Cybertill • Maintenance of all brand standards: Onsite landing pages and images • Delivery of all site updates and amendments to developers in a clear and concise manor • Development of the online platform to accommodate an expanding product range • Monitoring and cultivating growth through Google Analytics • Production of weekly reports • Creation and coding of email marketing campaigns • Designing and updating in- site CSM coinciding with seasonal collection changes • Development of UI/UX to drive traffic and improve sales conversion online • Development of House Of Hackney’s CRM program REQUIREMENTS • Have demonstrable hands-on experience in eCommerce, ideally within an eCommerce content / subscription environment • Have significant experience within a digital marketing environment, ideally with experience of conversion optimisation and user experience • Understanding of range of digital channels covering SEO, PPC, web merchandising and site usability. • Ideally have experience of line management, including coaching and development • Be a hands-on person who is very delivery driven and goes the extra mile to get things done • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to transmit this across different level stakeholders • Have a highly analytical approach and understand the strengths of the brand • Have meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines • Excellent written and verbal English communications • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multi-task across projects • Ability to work in a fast paced environment • Passion for the internet and online retail • Good self-organization and willingness to learn • Flexible to working and achieving goals as part of a growing team • Self-motivated, proactive, organised and dedicated • Ambition to grow House of Hackney into a global lifestyle brand APPLICATION Candidates who would like to apply for this position please send through your CV and link to portfolio along with a cover letter to careers@houseofhackney Closing date for applications - Friday 16TH May 2014
