W H A T I S Y O U R R O L E IN H I S B O D Y? WHERE ARE THESE VERSES FROM “11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:” There are many who fall into a role which dictates them as a servant of the Lord not abiding in the dispensation which is available to us which is the assembling of the saints - the house of the living God: “But if I tarry long , that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.” THEN there are some whom have received this verse completely = “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” Which also are as these verses = “20 Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called. 21Art thou called being a servant? Care not for it : but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather. 22 For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lords freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christs servant. 23 Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.” Some of these whom never ever forget the Lord, H I S mercy and how much H E loves - are servants without the church way; it is very rare but they are sold out for Jesus and are as the prophets of old relying upon H I S leading and direction within without the saints = they are completely founded by Jesus. I myself need the fellowship of the believers in CHRIST – but do not judge these ones who seem to travel around and are homeless without the church = Hebrews 13:2 KJV Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares” they have their calling, doing for others, many works, abounding in righteousness and as a servant they revere their SAVIOR; many times not a word is said to preach nor expound on Jesus===they do the will of God=== “My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.” AND = Matthew 7:21 KJV Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” A N D FURTHERMORE=== Here=== there is even a distinction between the righteous and the Holy: Revelation 22:11 KJV He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.” Now here is an indication of different roles in his body again===Matthew 19:12 KJV “For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mothers womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heavens sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.” Now we do not decide so much as to our role it is developing as we devote ourselves unto H I S word daily and stay in fellowship of the believers!=== 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” A N D === “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.” So H E begins to dwell in us and make his abode in us=== John 14:23 KJV Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” A N D===Revelation 3:20 KJV Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Herein we are given a role as H E takes us from “just as I am without one plea” “but that thy blood was shed for me” The tears rolling down my face as I write this for we used to sing this ===so we have been accepted right where we are and H E molds us. H I S words of spirit and life perform their function as a cell in the body does=== Isaiah 55:11 KJV So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Then H E even does this for us=== John 14:26 KJV But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” Then we must look at two more very important verses=== “16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. 17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper ; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn . This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. AND =Isaiah 13:3 KJV I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.” AND = “13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.” Who are such as these? = Psalm 97:10 KJV Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.” Now the chastisement of the Lord upon such comes from certain of us whom have such a role in the body of Christ = 16 These six things doth the LORD hate : yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands thatshed innocent blood, 18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in runningto mischief, 19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. T H E N = WHO’S ROLE IS AS WELL THIS? 1 Timothy 1:9 KJV Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,”--??????? DO YOU SEE WE ARE MANY MEMBERS ALL PLAYING A ROLE BUT YET ONE BODY OF CHRIST = ROMANS 12 V 4 For as we havemany members in one body, and all members have not the same office: 5 So we , being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; 7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth , on teaching; 8 Or he that exhorteth , on exhortation: he that giveth , let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth ,with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. 9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. 10 Be kindly affectioned one to another withbrotherly love; in honour preferring one another; 11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;” Therefore wait upon H I M….. FOR… Ephesians 3:9 KJV And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: Colossians 3:3 KJV For ye are dead , and your life is hid with Christ in God.” We must revere those who are labor in the word as pastors and evangelists and as God within leads us as written = Romans 13 v 1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God : the powersthat be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinanceof God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For rulers are not a terror togood works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, andthou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou dothat which is evil, be afraid ; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, arevenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject , not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. 6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they areGods ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
